Algae Help

Need a little help battling algae. Not sure if these are dinos or cyano but it’s starting to take over the tank. My parameters are below…

Also, the algae is in the overflow section as well. Can it get to a point that it will restrict flow and circulation between the tank and sump?

PH 8.0
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphates 0

I make my own RO/Di water and check it with a TDS meter.

I know I need to get my nitrates levels up but would that have anything to do with the outbreak? The tank has been up and running for about a year now. Thank you.

Looks like chrysophytes to me. Yes having nitrates and phosphates at zero opens the door for all these goopy invaders - dinos, cyano, chrysophytes. You would have to look under a scope to truly know what it is. You can dose nitrates or get more fish to help but it takes time.
