Doesn't look like hair algae to me. I can blow it off rocks with turkey blaster and it comes off more like cyano.

Excuse my French I apologize

No need. Ugh. I just got rid of red cyano. I talked to someone who said when they switched to Red Sea coral pro salt from Reef crystals, it went away. I'm probably feeding my fish too much. They look at me so expectantly whenever they see my face at the glass. I'm going to have to take tough love approach.:worried:

I took the aggressive approach for my tank. Mine was the black stuff. I went ahead and literally scooped up the crap in a net and slapped it into an unused bucket. Did that two or three times along with using the red slime stuff. I'd like to find a different way to get rid of it but it worked.

I've been siphoning it out and used chemiclean. I don't like using it. Came right back. Obviously somethings off. I just got a big ball of chaeto and put in my refugium. Just been a couple days. Maybe it will help. I'm going to cut back on feeding also.
