Hello

I recently had to rebuild 65 mixed reef. Tank cycled great 6 months ago. Frags and fish all doing great but live rock turning neon green color.

Not hairy
Doesn’t blow off with baster
Snails dog affect it. It look more like the more itself is this color.

You can’t see it when actinic are on. Onky when daylight or lights off

Parameters are all spot on

While I can't tell the species from the photos, a strong guess is that it's a byproduct of the tank being hit by too much direct sunlight. Even OK parameters will yield algae in the sun.

What lights are you running? Agree with @kfisc is it getting direct sunlight?
