Hi there from Portugal!
Tank 150L
- Lighting - 6x24w T5 ATI
- Skimmer - Mce 300
- Water flow - 6025 e 6045 (1/2 power)
The tank is 1 month and 1 week old
Salt - Tropic Marin w/ R.O. ( 0 tds )
Water reposition with the same R.0. water
Temp - 24.5º
Sal. - 1024
Ph - 8,4
Kh - 10
Ammonia - 0
No2 - 0
No3 - 10ppm
Cu - 0
Calcium - 460
Mag - Have to buy the test
It only has a few hermit crabs, some nassarius and 4 Turbos to control the algae
I do know the tank is still very fresh and the cycle is still running. Already had diatoms but they are gone now. But now I have something on the back glass. It's brownish green algae.
I changed the water today (30% every week) and easily syphoned them into my bathroom sink. (my R.O. water is free of No3 and Po4 and 0 TDS)
I do not want to influence your ID but can it be Bryopsis? Hope not because they are a pain in the *ss!
Another question, do you think I can control and drop the No3 from "10" to "0"? Because I already have my Po4 at "0". Do they need each other's balance to drop? (like if they were to be consumed by Macro Algae - I dont have Macro Algae though)
