Algae identification

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help to identify this algea I'm getting on my glass and power heads?
The tank was purchased second and was neglected for a while, at that stage I didn't realise that live rock could hold so much phosphate. I battled to get it down but my reading are all within range these days.
It's been running now for 9 months but this algae just won't budge!

Had similar algae outbreak in my new tank, so I added Seachem Phosguard and I can see them slowly disappearing. Remove as much as you can manually.

It's strange because I've been testing 0.00 on my Hanna for over 3 months. I just replace my GFO and I'm stepping up regular water changes. How did you remove manually? Every time I scrape it just floats all over the tank

Algae in Second pic looked like hair algae, probably this is something else in case it's not filamentous.

Turn off your powerheads when you scrape it off, then siphon out anything floating in the water column. You could also wait until it all settles on the bottom and siphon that as well.

Appears like a green hair algae/ Dino mix. An additive called Vibrant has worked very well for me. Taken care of green hair, green brush, cyano, etc. They have additives for fish only and reef tanks. Just make sure to get the right one. The fish only additive is a lot stronger could shock the system by stripping nutrients to quickly

I just had a bad infestation of this. It looks like the brown hair algae that I have always had to some extent.

Mine grew to about 1" long

I used fluconazole and its cleaning it up now as I type. I have heard good things about vibrant as well but never tried it. generally if clean water is not helping fluconazole works
