Algae Identify

Not real clear, but it looks like common hair algae. If that is the case, get a phosphate reactor, not too spendy.

i dont know how to get a clear image. I had a killer issue with Bryopsis a while back that i cleared with fluconazole but this dont look like Bryopsis. I do have a phosphate reactor that i mixed with phosban and carbon. This is a 29 Gallon Biocube. Do you know if emeralds will eat this or any other invert?

Looks like regular green hair algae to me..
Turning the blue channel on your lights way down or off will many times allow a better picture along with showing colors properly..

start simple..
What are your nitrate levels?
What are your phosphate levels?
It usually gets like that when you allow those 2 to be elevated..

Emerald crabs help.. Turbo snails are better..

Im thinking of using Flucazanole again but i dont want my pistol shrimp to die. As for levels Ammonia, 0 Nitrate 0 Nitrite 0 and Phosphate 0 I even tested with 2 different kits salifert and api. i have 3 fish 2 clowns and a yellow watchman goby. skimmer, a160 led light, phosban reactor, this started when i converted the back chamber to a fuge with Cheato.

how long has that media been in the Phosban reactor? If over a month, change it, and your problem may go away.

Here are some better pics

Bryopsis when I had it before was more flat like a fern. This is more rounded. I can't seem to find a pic of is.
