Algae in the anus of the fish!

Accipiter

One week ago, I added the first living animals to my new tank (My FIRST saltwater tank! After 3-4 weeks of cycling. Still a lot of hair algae in the there). I added some snails, some hermits, two cleaner shrimps and a yellow tang.
All of them look very healthy, in my opinion. The tang and the shrimps are eating well and seem to thrive.

However, the tang has some algae (hair algae, I guess) hanging out of the anus (or whatever u call it in english) right underneath the fish. Should I try to catch the fish and remove the algae, or what do u think?

Thank you :)

Yes.
Or..Of course, it might be poo, but then it's really poorly digested..

It's probably just poo. My PB Tang's poo sometimes looks like chunks of uneaten nori. And sometimes it hangs out of his butt too. In fact, the idiot will take a dump and then eat it. Just nasty! :headwally:
