Hello,
My tank has had a recent outbreak of some kind of brown slime algae. I'd say it's similar to cyano just brown in color. It has covered half of my rocks and is on some of my coral frags. The algae is bothering them and I'd like to at least remove it from the frags. I'm heard others recommend a peroxide (hydrogen peroxide I assume) dip. Has anyone done this? I don't want to cause massive die off or kill my corals.
My nutrients read on the lower end, just barely detectable. I'm guessing the cyano may have been caused by using too much NOPOX. Still now I'm looking for a solution. If anyone has any advice they can share please do so.
Thanks!
