Algae Scrubbers?

I'm looking for another way to export phosphate and have been reading up on algae scrubbers. Has anyone here had experience with the Santa Monica brand scrubbers? I'm trying to avoid a DIY build, thanks.

I have the SM HOG1 for about a month and a half now. Its really not growing anything at all, but I think its more due to the fact that I have ZERO no3 and po4. I don't have to clean glass often at all, and have no algae growing anywhere. I think if you want to buy a pre-built, you either go with a SM unit, or a Floyd unit. I think Floyds will likely grow a bit better since its a water fall design, but it also takes up more space, is more difficult to install, and more expensive.
