Algae Turf Scrubber?

I plan on installing one on my clownfish breeding setup eventually. Maybe once my ocellaris pair starts laying eggs again. I would imagine an algae turf scrubber would really help the water quality in a breeding setup with a few hundred baby clownfish.

Inland Aquatics has run one forever; I believe he owned the patent but never really marketed very well, but the patent is/has running out. I love the idea of adding diversity, and a much more natural filtration system. On the other hand the Watts needed in lights to work one compared to the low watt efficient skimmers on the market now is a super big concern in my book. If I ran a breeding system I would first look into what the University of Hawaii recommends and consider a large reverse flow pond style argonite filter.
