Are these alien eyes?

I found someone selling these colony for $30. I think it's a good deal if they are alien eyes.

What do you guys think?

They sure look like alien eyes to me. That whole colony for $30?!?!?!? That is a heck of a good deal! I'd go for it :)

Who cares if they are alien eyes or not if you like them?
 
I care. I don't have alien eyes and would like some. Especially for a good price. What if I buy and then show off I have alien eyes? Everybody gets on your case and says that you don't have alien eyes, that everyone else and their mothers trying to say that have a certain strain of zoas when they really don't......

Just want to make sure that's what they are before I purchase and claim I have alien eye.
 
I understand what you're saying - but Alien Eyes or not at $30 they look pretty sweet.

Please let me know if you don't take them. :)
 
What is the going rate for Alien Eyes per polyp?
It looks like that colony is about 50 polyps for the $30.

I agree that they are very nice looking.
 
imo, they look VERY similar to the AE but notice how they have a slightly darker ring around the yellow-- that's what made me think that they aren't alien eyes. btw, i know where you found those! ;) i saw them but really didn't think that they're AE-- not to mention the fact that i have a decent sized colony of my own AEs. :D

but, for 30 plus shipping, i'd get in on some AE lookalikes if i were you! :) goodluck!
 
also, be very careful with those guys-- when they're just in from the carribbean, they tend to be very picky about tank conditions. give them good flow and high-medium light. :) gl.
 
who cares if they are alien eyes or not. its a good looking colony for a good price. since when does a name determine whether or not you'd want to get it, regardless of what it looks like?

i choose looks over names.

obviously, luisprado, the thread starter, cares about if they are alien eyes or not. :p :D either way, it's a sweet deal for some sweet zoas. :D

Really nice and for that price what a deal ... you got really lucky... also what is the big deal if a zoa is original AE or not if you like them that what matters....

Who the hell are you? and it makes people like me not want to come to these forums to ask questions. We are all entitled to ask reasonable questions without being judged. I also fail to see what is so hilarious. Do you have a laughing problem? Why are you able to get on your high horse and criticize me when everyone else on this forum is courteous and nice?

IMO, that's a bit harsh and out of line with the purpose and spirit of this forum.

While my original point was that it shouldn't matter if they are a particular morph or not if you like them, I can understand why people want popular zoas. There are trendy cat and dog breeds and corals or no different.

Even if the OP only created this thread to boast about his great deal, so what? Unless someone is breaking the forum rules (like posting things for sale in this forum), who are you to criticize?
