Alien Mouth Mycedium/placement and feeding?

I acquired 3 pieces of this about a month ago. I have them placed about 6 inches from the bottom of the tank. My tank is a 40 gallon tall 30Lx12Wx24H. I have a 250W 15K along with two 75W VHO actinic 03's. I have noticed one's skin curling over and under its hard structure (or its white skeleton). Is this normal for it to be growing? These corals don't seem to send out their sweepers that much, only at night, and for a short time.
I am currently feeding my tank with cyclopeeze, mysis, oyster eggs, and phyto once a week sometimes twice. Is this a coral that requires spot feeding? Like using a turkey baster (sp.).
I'm getting more into LPS as my zoanthids have acquired a mystery bacteria and have thrown several away.

No pictures at the moment. You can find it at www.reefkingdom.com

All of my mycedium like lower light than most of my other 'chalice' corals. I keep them in more shadey areas of my tank, which has two 400 watt MH with Lumenarcs.

The flesh curling under the skeleton edging is typical growth.

On the zoanthids, it may be the typical sponge death within the rock. Try giving them a dip of 50% peroxide (the 3% solution you get at the drug store) and 50% RO water. Let them soak for about 4-5 minutes. Take them out and dip them in straight RO water, to get the peroxide dip water off, then return them to the tank. The peroxide dip kills all the bacteria caused by the sponge dying within the rock. I use this method on ALL the zoanthid colonies I get in, and have had great results.

God dangit, that site wants some serious cheese for their pieces. I know they have some very nice corals but they were asking outrageous prices on alot of things.

Yeah Steve...they are a little high on the prices, but you never know what they are goig through to try and sell them. I mean the cost of wholesale, electricity, feeding, etc...The guy at Reefkingdom was a cool dude. He kept in touch with me and made sure everything was alright. Guess that should have been included in the price, huh?lol

cant fault them for trying to get top dollar for their time and money. I didnt mean it like that. They do have very nice pieces too.
