ALK dosing tube becoming clogged

I dose 2 Part Alkalinity via Litermeter III and the out put end of the tubing becomes very clogged after a week or so. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

It is very easy to remove and it only crusts up at the very tip. I have it submerged in my sump. Would bringing it out of the water prevent this from happening?

I had the same thing. Dripping from above the water stopped it.
