Where do you keep you alk? I am going for super stable alk and ca. Doing this with a kalk ATO. I am going to try to keep my ca at 420-440 and want to keep my alk as stable as possible. I was thinking 10dkh which is where I have it at now.
aren't you dosing vodka? i think when dosing vodka you want to keep the alk a bit lower so you don't burn sps tips. i read somewhere to keep it around 8 dkh
reeferlover yeah that all I dose for now. I have liquid ca and buffer for increasing each one by its self.
nano427 I stopped dosing vodka about a month ago now. Did not really do to much for me.

I keep mine around 9 for this reason. I had to change from reefcrystals to seachem reef salt because it was mixing up around 13 and burning my tips. In randy holmes-farleys article its states that the typical surface water in the ocean is around 7 dKH but suggests we keep our tanks anywhere from 7-11. This all depends on what we are doing though as far as supplements additives or what we want to achieve i believe.
