Alkalinity question

Yes, it can, and it can cause health issues with your coral.

Alkalinity is (in very simple terms) the amount of bicarbonate dissolved in the water. If it's too high, it'll tend to precipitate out and become unavailable for coral.
 
my alkalinity is too high, so i disconnected my topoff from my kalk reactor. Does my CA reactor also contribute to high alk?
