ALL Algaes are GONE!

I have 70g tank bare bottom, trying ULM tank with 6 fish with few corals, mostly LPS for about close to two years.

My filtration are small refugium with chaeto, oversized protein skimmer (120g) and pukani rocks.

Now, for the longest time, I had algae growing at modest level in the back of the tank and inside the refugium. Nothing crazy but they were there for sure. But my corals did not look too happy and so did anemone, so I started to have small bio pellet reactor, photo guard, feed smaller amount of food, and used bag or carbon to lower my phosphate and nitrate level.

Now, one day after checking my parameters, which were in range and still but SPS were not fully extended, I thought maybe I am taking away too much nutrient. So I first removed phos guard and carbon, eventually stopping my skimmer. Now, during all this phase out moments, I am giving food 3 times a day with fish food, coral food all mixed together.

My corals were responding better, fish look healthier and anemone were doing better as far as I can tell. Now, here is my dilemma:

My algae were slowly fading out to a point now, I have no algae even in my refugium where I have refugium light turned on overnight. At first, I didn't care because my corals were doing fine, SPS doing ok, but now I am worried all my chaeto are gone. I am feeding 3 times a day and even stopped protein skimmer running.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or right? because I thought of having little bit algae was good... Now - i have 0 extra filtration other than filter sucks and refugium with barely any algae. I am thinking the nutrient level is so low that they can't grow and I dont see any pods. Again, every other method of filtration has been removed or stopped and I still can't get any growth after feeding 3 full times a day. This is bizarre and would like to have someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

So you have no nuisance algae, & your corals are doing well.

Sorry, what's the problem?

What are your no3 & po4 levels at now?

^^^What he said^^^

I'd keep an eye on your PO4 and NO3 just to make sure they stay in check. It'd be way too easy to let things slide thinking all is well and the one day wake up to Hair Algae Hell. You'll then spend the next few months trying to get rid of it!
