All black and an all white ocellaris? What would you pay for them?

One of my LFS has a really neat pair of ocellaris clowns from ORA. One is all black, no strips, but just a tip of orange on his nose, that will likely fade away as he matures.
The other is an almost all white ocellaris, with just a tinge of orange on his fins and nose, 95% white at least.
They are about 1 1/4" long.
I'm tempted.
These are the first I've seen like this. Are they worth the sizeable investment or are we likely to see more of this in the comming years?

Im sure if ORA is selling them its because they have brood stock at their facillity, they are not going to let their only ones go. But the question is are you willing to part with your money for those two fish, remembering that they are just clowns.

Who cares what I would pay for them? They would be your fish, if you like them, pay what you're willing:)

I have seen the midnight ocellaris pairs selling for $250/pair in the DD... so, apparently they are fairly rare.

I'm not a fan of the platinums, but again, it's your fish, not mine:)

Its not like they are all that rare, but they are not common either. In the end its your money. If you like them and think they are worth it, go for it!

What is a "sizable investment"?
It sounds like a cool pair, if they get along. I would expect to pay some real money for them but I wouldn't mortgage the house.

if its a ora fish then its a platinium, whyoming whites are occs. i paid 600 for my pair of platiniums and 700 for my whyoming whites. all depends on what you like

If you think you can get them without breaking the bank, and that watching them will make you happy, go ahead! And then you can go on the hunt for an exotically named BTA clone and have a display that many people will envy. :D

Wow mine have never fought like that. I have a black clown paired with a picasso.

I love those midnights though. I always thought it would be cool to have a pair of domino clowns.
