im not sure whats going on but so far ive had a sail fin tang,macolatus tang,powder blue, and today my naked clown die all within a week.ever since i put the powder blue in,it seems that everything is doing bad.it got ick within the first 2 days of being in the tank so i think that might have a lot to do with it.i was going to go buy some kick ick but wanted to know if there was anything that i could do instead that would be better since my tank is a 180.that would call for a lot of kick ick,and its not cheap.last time i checked my water it was fine.nothing bad at all.please help as im about to tear the whole tank down and get out of the hobby for a while.

Hey Brother,

I haven't lost any fish yet, but I am dealing with the same with a butterfly and yellow tang in my brand new 90. I am sorry to hear how disheartened you are. I know the fustration.

the only advice I can give is to keep asking, and reading. If your sure it is ich, have you thought about a hospital tank, hyposalinity, freshwater dip, copper, garlic etc. Here is the thread that I have been reading;

anyway, good luck and stay safe on the job
