All of a sudden

all of a sudden my xenia are beginning to melt away. Ive had them for a long time now, do regular water changes and keep the temp @ 78. I havent done anything different. What could it be?

If you dont test, how do you know that you need to dose more ?

IMO, I dont add anything that I dont test for first. Depending on the salt mix that you use, there may be all the correct sups in there already. If you know the amount of sups in the salt & you test the water before you do a water change, this will give you a good idea of what is being used up from the salt.

One of the RC Mods here has a chart of all the eliments in each of the salt mixes. I have it on my other computer, I will boot it up & post it. Its realy a good chart to hang on to.
