What is the recommended water levl for the 170 & 200 cones?

Another question. What is the difference between the mini Red Dragon 1500 on the 200 and a Askoll/laguna 1500 skimmer pump? Will the custom volute from Red Dragon go on an Askoll and vice versa or is the mounting totally different? Thinging about one of these but if down the line I have a pump problem I know the askoll/laguna's are cheaper in price than the red dragons.

The motorblocks that Royal-Exclusiv uses on their Red Dragon pumps are Askoll / Laguna 1500 and 2000 motorblocks. All of the Alpha skimmers utilize Askoll 1500 motorblocks. Royal-Exclusiv then goes and puts in their own custom impeller shaft, custom impeller, custom pump head, venturi, etc. The only thing that is "stock" about the pump is the motorblock. Anyone Askoll 1500 motorblock will bolt up to all of this.

That clears that up. What about replacement parts, ie; shaft, pinwheel etc. Where would one have to go to purchase any of these?

You are covered for 2yrs under warranty, which can go through either us, or Proline Aquatics. After that period you can purchase parts directly through us.
