alternate pump for BK Mini 200

Well I messed up good, I had my bubbleking mini apart cleaning it and the pump hit the ground hard and on its corner/edge. I ended up cracking the houseing. Is there an alternate pump that I could use in it other than the replacement from BK. I spent enough for the skimmer two years ago I don't want to drop another $650.00 on a replacement pump.

Not quite sure what you mean by housing but you can buy a new motor block for about 250 from Aquarium Specialty. I've also heard that ATB pumps can be used.

Is it totally unusable? The motor and cord will be encased in epoxy, so if that is intact it may be salvageable?

That does suck though. Ugh.

Actually I haven't tried to plug it in. After it hit the floor I inspected the pump and saw the crack right at the corner of the plastic and the epoxy.
