Alternate

Hi Roger, just a stupid quick question. I have 2x 6000's and a MC. I have them pulsing back and forth at 30% & 60%. But what I'd really like to do is get them to alternate on and off, with the off truly being off. Is that possible? Their current crosses paths with my SCWD return from sump, and that is my current in the front of my tank. The Streams even at 30% are deflecting my sump return and I get no flow in the front of my tank. (my tank is 28" back to front so I' like having the streams towards the front of my tank and pointing to the back corners)

I'll turn the streams up past 60% later but I have a ton of SPS frags in the Southdown that I don't want to get buried.

Thanks,

David

Tide Mode. Use the first and last sockets on the controller. The interval light will come on, then set the time interval you want between the two pumps using the knob and the switch.

Works great, thanks.

Quick question on the light sensor (can't find my book last night). Where is the best place to put it, and when it goes into night mode, do the pumps turn off, or go down to 30% when I have it in Tide mode.

During night mode, the pumps switch to whatever the bottom knobs are set too and stop pulsing. My advice is don't go too low, you need some flow to comp for the night pH drop. The sensor sticks somewhere where you have light, clean the surface well before applying the adhesive.

Thanks. My ph swing is pretty high. During the day, with the lights on and when the fan kicks in, the Osmo is pumping kalk water into the tank. It hits 8.3 sometimes, when I wake up it's usually 8.1 - is that too much?
