Alternating photo period durring the week.

Has anyone bothered to alternate their photo period durring the week. For example MWF 8-8 dawn/dusk 11-6 full lighting and T, TH, Sat, Sun 8-8 dawn/dusk 12-5 full lighting. The point would be to have some days with more intense lighting and some with less in order to allow the coral to have a more natural photo period. Would it even be worth the effort? I would be doing this with the help of my RKE.

Sounds like a good idea to me...same idea as the cloud effects people are doing with LED controllers.
