alternative to a lamp tree?

hello all!

Ill be getting the solana for xmas this year (my gift to myself lol) and I want to upgrade the lighting to 250w but I need a method to hang it.
I was thinking of probably the 250w aquamedic pendant, or my second choice to be the 250w 20" sunpod (I currently have the 150w sunpod over my 24g AP)

So I need a way to mount this light as I do not like the ceiling idea, and I have vaulted ceilings anyway so it would look hokey:bum:

This is the zero edge lamptree (189.00)
I was wondering if someone has something like this that they found cheaper or maybe has made one similar to it?

It can be mounted to the back of your stand and the crossbar holds the light suspended

If you can weld or know someone that does build one. A 1 inch square with 1/16th wall 20 foot section of steel tubing is about $20. Most schools need projects for the students if you can't weld or do not know anyone that does.
