alternative to egg crate?

looking for an alternative to egg crate...I cant find any at my local HD What else could I use for a lid and to set my rock on?

I have some 1/4" lexan, would that be ok to set my rock on?

yep, did you ask for light diffusers? that is what they are called in the hardware store world. you find it by the ceiling tiles.

yes, light diffuser...they had none

lexan should work as well as building some PVC structure. Maybe even drill a few small holes in the lexan for better water flow thru it if you go that route.
