Always cleaning my glass

Why does my glass get so dirty? If I don't clean it every other day, it's a chore to get off. I can clean it everyday and it's noticeable. My Nitrate stays >1 and my po4 stays >.06 (currently .03). I also have a ph swing of about .3 in a 24 hour period. I don't know if that is relevant. My DIY algae Scrubber gets cleaned once a week. Could it be my filter socks? I don't have much in the way of bioload, so my skimmer does produce a lot of skimmate. I don't know if you need more info to help me, but I will be happy to provide any additional information. Wow. Maybe try a mag float. I use the wooden ones that are really strong.

I get the glass clean. But it's dirty again the next day. I thought that was a sign of high nutrients.

No. Not direct. I have a sliding glass door about 30 feet away. The door is covered with curtains. My MH are on for 7 hours and my t5 are on for 10

I thought I was an expert at this reefing thing because I watched all 52 weeks of reefing on BRS, [emoji23] LOL. That's where I heard that dirty glass means high po4. I am glad to here that I don't have an issue. Thanks for replying.

PO4 for me right now is .03 so yeah its high but, I also get some direct sunlight...

My po4 is currently .02. I was saying it is always less than .06. It hasn't been .06 for a few weeks. I have a hard time communicating my thoughts some times.

I rarely need to use a scraper. I use an algae free brand mag float. I have several of them and they are one of the best. Maybe you should check them out.

In my past tanks if the mag float didn't work I used a old credit card
