Always scraping algae off the glass!!

I'm approaching a year of my tank running and I'm still have to scrap algae off the front of the glass a minimum of one time a week. Is this normal? I had a small outbreak of hair algae a month ago, but that is gone. Coraline algae grows well in the tank.

I have 90 gallon tank full of live rock, 15-gallon fuge with macro algae and Aqua C EV120 skimmer. I guess a case could be made my flow is too low, I have 3 maxijet 900s on a wavemaker.

I've only had a powderblue tang and royal gamma in the tank and I don't overfeed. Phosphates have never registered. I'm acutally running some phosban now just in case.

Lights are two 96watt retro PCs.

PH 8.1
nitrates and ammonia don't register.

How often do you do water changes. Just because your nitrates and phosphates dont register doesnt mean they are not there.

But really, if you only have to clean the front of your glass once a week consider yourself lucky.

yeah, i need to run the magfloat across my glass every 3 days or so. i get a green haze on the inside of the glass in that amount of time. it's just normal growth, in my mind.
