thought Id share the progress

the other almost done
water tested for 24 hours not a drop leaked : )
went over all the seams 3 times with weldon 16 and let it set for 24 hours each time to be 100% extra safe
ended up going with 1/2'' thank you everyone for the input and squashing my craziness

6 hours later finally got installed
thanks again for the input everyone I think it came out perfect couldn't be happier
added a 3 gallon fuge bringing the total to 13 feet of sump and 140 gallons
needs some cable management
criss cross set up with the pumps so water does a figure 8
1'' bulkhead connecting the 2 sumps
