Am I crazy?

Ok, I got my tank, stand and everything used a couple years ago. Since I have upgraded my lights, skimmer, and a few other things.

The tank, Oceanic, has scratches on it and the stand is old.

Looking at everyones tanks and stands I want a new tank and nice oak stand.

Any ideas.

Anyone else thinking the same.

I hear you, someone just offered me a used oceanic 58 with a stand for $100. Great deal right! I looked closely @ it and it was full of little scratches. Had to pass on it.

We just did what you are thinking of and love it! We spent almost 4 years with a run down stand,crummy old sump, and severely scratched tank. The new one is awesome..do it when you can afford it, you won't regret it!

i dont know ive bought all mine used and have been happy with everyone of them but not the stands thats why i started building my own and now i like them a hole lot more

then again the scratches on mine are not noticable unless your really looking hard thay wernt that old my 125 was 2 months old and never set up the guy wanted to go bigger

LOL, both my 20s were used as sumps by the previous owners! I think the only new thing I have purchased new was replacement bulbs (when they burned out).
