So I recently got 2 clownfish a Koran angle and a mandarin goby. I am feeding one frozen cube a day, rinsed, mixed with few drops garlic extreme and tank water one a day. I plan on alternating mysis, Cyclopes, plankton, seaweed delight, vege flakes and Spectrum pellets.
Does this routine sound kind of reasonable ? thanks in advance

It sounds fine to me. The more variety you can offer the better. Just be careful though. Overfeeding can lead to all kinds of problems.

Is that mandarin eating any of the foods listed above? These fish are specialized feeders, so if it's not eating any of the foods you mentioned, I hope you have a large population of pods to fall back on. GL.

My lfs said he will take frozen mysis. But i have had him just a day. Will keep an eye on his feeding. If not i either get pods or he goes back to LFS

The clowns & mandarin won't eat the plant-only based foods. Never had an angel...don't know if they will eat plant based food. Many angels have specific diets like slonhes in the wild and there are foods made especially for their needs. I'd check into that.

Good answer on the mandarin IMO! Did you see it eat in the LFS?

Is this a new tank? If so the Mandarin has an overwhelming chance of dieing. You can never add enough pods to feed them by buying them in a bottle, although some experts breed pods on a large scale. But adding pods to the tank and refugium to slowly build a big & stable population is an OK idea as the future habitat of the mandarin is created. The bigger the tank size; the better. Good luck.

Even if the mandarin eats prepared foods, that will not be enough to sustain it long term.
