This is what I have in my 55 right now:

2 false percula's
1 bicolor blenny
1 lawnmower blenny
1 bangaii cardinal
1 brazilian gramma
1 potter's angel

All the fish are small (except for the fully grown lawnmower blenny), so it looks pretty empty in the tank. As far as inverts go, I have a few stars and a bunch of janitors. Do you think I have room for any more fish? If so, any recommendations?

You say all of your fish are small except the full grown lawnmower blenny, so can you have more fish.

I would say yes and no, depending on some conditions that only you can decide.

1. What will you do when all the fish are grown and the tank is to small for them

a) get a bigger tank, b) give some of the fish away or try to trade them in to lfs for smaller ones.( If you are like most of us, then this option will not pan out, as you get attached to the fish's personalities. c) just let them figure out how to survive in an ocean that is to small for them, and deal with the deaths this causes.

If you answer these questions honestly to yourself you will know whether or not to put more fish in the tank, without having to ask can I have more fish.

When you decide for yourself it also makes it easier to decide whether or not you should buy that really Kool fish at the lfs when you go for supplies.

you could do more, but your bioload would suck, more water changes would be needed, more competition for food... bottom line it's gonna screw things up.

that's a good amount of fish. if you want more, go with a small goby or two, which will starve if not spot fed with those fish you listed.

you could do it, but it would be a big hassle to keep healthy.

also if you wanted, get a huge sump to deal with the bioload.
