amazing tank

The fasion in which these tanks are displayed are incredible, but I agree with JBittner, the fake coral leaves alot to be desired. I would think that it would be just as big a pain in the *** to have to clean all that plastic stuff, then just make the tank a FOWLR. I have had plenty of people see my tank then travel to vegas and say, "Those tanks are impressive, but yours is way more bueatiful... How huch does it cost to start up a tank"?

Very cool, not what I am looking for but an awesome job for their costumers that got what they needed.

i agree to some extent but you mostly see these inserts at businesses where there more concerned with keeping the tank looking clean than growing corals . mandalay bay and disney have inserts in there aquariums

I just saw a TV program on the Discovery channel (or was it the history channel - or maybe animal planet???) about Europe's newest and largest aquarium and research center in Vilencia, Spain. Their "reef" tank is full of reef fish, but everything including the rock structures are fake. They say due to the amount of biological material they couldn't have actual corals growing in the tank along with the fish. I guess they never saw some of the tanks people on reefcental have!

A couple of those tanks are in the Bass Pro Shop on the way to Las Vegas...it's one of the round ones. It's really amazing on how many fish they have in it!!!

You can sit at the bar...have a drink...eat an appetizer...and stare at the tank...pretty cool.

REally? Where is the shop? By the outlets?
