Amazon Stingrays 750 Mega Reef

Our 750 Mega Reef Build Journal 11-20-10

The main display system is 86" x 78" x 26". Approximately 750 gallons.
Built by Bashsea, the custom tank is ¾" acrylic, with a center overflow, dry channel, 4 drains and 3 returns.

Plumbing: Returns are 1" schedule 40. Drains are 2" schedule 40.

Powered by an external Madflo 3500 gph pump.

Our protein skimmer is a Bashsea 10"x28" Dual Beckett Skimmer

The refugium, also built by Bashsea, measures 60" x 30" x 17" and is approximately 120 gallons. Its lit by a 4 Bulb HO T5 lighting fixture.

Currently we have about 250 pounds of live rock, and approx 1" of Caribsea Aragonite.

We built the custom wood stand.

We are still trying to decide what to do about the lighting.

Thanks Everyone!!! Also the Bashsea sump looks really cool, so we will not be covering that bad boy up. Also its a great time out place for when someone is starting to get an attitude.

Sure, come on by anytime, Pat's pretty much always at the shop. I feel kinda funny putting up the stingray tanks since they are freshwater, but they are really cool.
