Amino Acids

Taking a poll here. Who doses amino acids? Who thinks they are a waist of time? Who thinks they are trouble for the tank?

I dosed for several months and didn't see any difference, so I quit. Didn't see any difference after quitting either.

I know when I went and bought the light Steve at corner reef used something I don't know the brand but little glass tubes he said they were amino acids and trace elements but I don't know much about them

I dose tlf acropower on my old tank (bought 1 gal) when it was ulns and I think it kept everything alive when I started starving everything. I have since moved and have higher nutrients now but I kept the doser running since, then so far idk if it does anything.

Noted that I did have some cyano blooms when I was dosing a lot and backed off but it could have been the new sand.

Summary: I dose. I keep using it because I don't want to change anything. So far so good.

I dose acropower. After I got rid of a spirulina outbreak I thought was cyano its been pretty good.
