Ammo-chips in Saltwater???

Setting up QT tank and want to keep Ammonia under wraps. Bought these Ammo-chips from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc. and says these are for freshwater aquariums. Is it safe for saltwater??? Doesn't say???

I havent heard of anybody using them in SW. If it doesnt say you can use it SW I wouldnt. Get a powerfilter and run carbon.

I'm running some power filters. I have more fish in QT due to main tank being infected than I'm comfortable with.

It doesn't say you can't use in Saltwater is just says for Freshwater.

ammo chips are zeolite which will not work in saltwater. Saltwater is used to renew the zeolite making it release the ammonia. So basically it will only serve as a biological media and detritus build up media

Is there anything that will help remove ammonia besides water changes?

Just do waterchanges and use a binder (ammo-lock or the like).
