Ammonia during TT

I am starting Tank Transfer... I currently have 2 fish in QT Coral Beauty and a yellow shrimp goby.. They have been in 20 gallon QT tank 3 days... and I added Amquel once to reduce ammonia that was raising via my ammonia alert badge.

I want to add a red headed fairy wrasse to the group going through TT. Since I will add this fish today... I need to start the clock over again on TT? So today is day one again? ALSO do I keep adding amquel for the ammonia? Do you add that daily to reduce the ammonia? Now that I am not putting them in a new tank... I want to ensure that I don't create a toxic tank while I start over...

Thanks
Neptune...

If you add a fish, the clock resets to zero. I add an ammonia eliminator on day two of each transfer cycle. I do not use the ammonia badges.

Steve... Yes but as I am not doing TT this week... as i am adding another fish.. can I re dose the same QT tank 2x with amquel? the fish would be moved tomorrow... if I was doing TT this week. Instead I am adding a new fish and keeping everyone put for another 3 days.... so do I re dose? I think 3 fish will be fine for TT... in a 20 gallon QT. It is so much work for me to do TT.. i want as much bang for the buck as I can safely get.

Redosing should be ok, but I would suggest a water change before redosing.
