Ammonia in open bags, quick question.

Tonight after watching numberous youube videos I turned my aquaclear 70 HOB filter into a little DIY refugium.....I bought some chaeto algae and live rock rubble to throw in there, i was gettin sick of the sponges turning into a nitrate factory....question if i let the closed bag of Chaeto and LiveRock sit over night will it be harmfull? The bags are still closed....or should i just wait for the silicone to dry and throw the stuff in now....

id say open the bags so the macro and live rock are receiving oxygen, but they should be ok overnight. Dont let the temp drop too much so maybe float opened bags in your tank and clip them with something so they wont sink
