Amphiprion Latezonatus owners?

Hey guys, I got my hand on 2 pairs of Latz, What I wanted to know is ---

1) How long have you had them?
2) What size system they are kept in?
3) Any record of spawning and raising fry?

I'm hoping to get a pair in soon too. i was thinking a 20g tall with only one anemone under some pc's. would that work for a pair of Latz? I'm thinking they won't be moving around much if there's a anemone since none of my other clowns even leave their anemone in my 50g.
 
That seems mighty small to me. These are clowns of the clarki complex and get a decent size. IMO I would say a minimum would be a 55 gal.
 
55g is pretty big for two clowns but then the bigger the better right? I have kept tricinctus pairs in 30g before and those get pretty big as well. I might just put my onyx pair in the 20g and use my 50g for the new clowns. problem solved!
 
i have a 300g tank waiting for a pair of latz. and i have been actively looking for 3 years now with no good luck.

hope that changes.,
 
well im working with a good friend who owns a lfs this year so we have been talking to collectors and trying to find someone to collect.

when i get some in im going for multiple pairs for the store as it has a 500g tank for my own 300 and for a few friends i know are looking.

so im hoping to have a good year this year but man its been fun searching for some
 
There's some online stores that's offering them and reason I posted was because i'm suppose to be the first one on the waiting list for a pair since I didn't get a pair from the first batch they brought in. I got a call from them a couple days ago but I missed it and I'm hoping to hear from them soon. Man oh man I wished I was around to pick up the phone!
 
I think I read that thread of yours the first day you posted it. It was a great thread! And I definitly know how certain clowns are so rare or unattainable that people can only dream about them(I dream about omans). However I am more hopeful now because someone actually did get a pair from the website recently and they had posted on RC about it. So I know it is not a fluke. Obviously even if I'm on a waiting list it could take a long time to get them. But it is a pretty reputable site and if they say it'll take less than a month for the next batch I'm hoping for the best.
 
I agree, its seems that Latz are becoming more available or maybe its just more Aussie's are getting them and they are being on the boards more. I know of one latz locally and they guy simply won't sell it because he can't catch it. I offer everytime I go into the store but he says no.
 
I'm sure sooner or later Latz will be widely available. I remember when bicinctus clowns were rare and they pop up every once in a while on ffexpress back in the days. Now it seems like every website has them listed under the clowns category.

Obviously most of us clown freaks would like to get our hands on Latz sooner than later....
