so i got my first anem last week. The store called it a purple laong tentacle anem. It's NICE. By far thprettiest ive ever seen. it's a light shade of purple with white stripes on each tentacle. VERY PRETTY!! but any way.. it has been moving since i got it last wednesday and i woke up thi morning and its behind a rock where my bristle star usually stays . i almost couldnt find it b/c its so small now ( i guess b/c the star is hitting it and their fighting for the space) What should i do? do i leave it and hope it moves or do i try to move it so it doesnt get hurt?

It may have just deflated to regulate its internal water params.. my BTA does it every few days with no ill effects.

I would leave it alone, it may be expelling waste and its going to move until it finds its happy spot, how big of a tank and what kind of lighting? its moving now due to a new home and could be trying to find the best lighting and waterflow at the moment, as for the starfish I dont think it will have much of an effect on your anemone

It's a 72 gallon bow front with 2x 250w halides. my main concern is the starfish hurting it. And i really don't want to loose this thing!
