Anemone and clown-only tank questions

Hi everyone,

I'm going to set up an anemone and clown only tank. How much live rock should I put in the tank? If I remember correctly, I think I read that I shouldn't have a lot of live rock in the tank, but want to check and make sure.

The tank is 30g.

It all depends...what anemone do you want? Some live on rocks, so live in the sand.

Mostly BTA's, maybe LTA's.

BTA's like rock, and LTA's typically wedge themselves in between the two.

I would say include some rock maybe 5 nice size pieces adding up to about 20/25... that way you will have space for that LTA...and some space for showcasing the anem...

In a 30 gallon, you will need to decide whether you want a LTA or a BTA, not both.
