anemone bedtime rituals?

i havent seen what the usual behavior is for an anemone (sebae or otherwise) after the lights go out and wanted to know if this is somewhat normal during the acclimation.
I bought one 2 days ago and as far as i can tell it is well on its way to adjusting to my tank. During the day it has seemed rather small with the tentacles very short and round. last night about 2 hours after the lights went out, the tentacles were much longer and it was more filled out. this seemed to be just the opposite of what i expected.
It ate mysis the day after i bought it and has eaten 2 smallish pieces today. its got a good "stick" to the tentacles, but has yet to really root itself in the substrate or move around more than an inch.
its at the bottom of the tank under 2x65w PC lights, medium to low flow while it settles in.
here a pic of it during the day today

As long as it isn't going to be blown around by the flow give him the regular tank flow rather than reduced flow. The anemone will be less likely to move around again later if the flow doesn't change. Hard to see in the pic but he looks pretty healthy. Be sure to feed him alot, 135 watts of PC lighting is not enough light in a 40 IMO.
