Anemone Crab

Anemone crabs sound cool. I am looking for some input from other RC'ers.

Are these guys really good for anemones?

Will they interfere with fish hosting in the anemone?

Are they reef safe?

IME, anemone crabs lose the battle with clownfish. At least with aggressive clownfish. My clarkii clown got rid of the anemone crab since he was competition.

I have a ocellaris which is not hosting in my BTA. So the crab could make himself at home. My goal is to get a carpet for my clown. So both could have their own place. Do you think this would work?

Also, I see you have carpets. Can you help me out here:

I have a small anemone crab hosting in a carpet. I added a Sebae clown and now they both host, they don't seem to bother each other. The crab stays more on the edge or underside of the anemone now, that's about the only difference so far.

Does the crab stay in the anemone the whole time? He doesn't nip at corals does he?

Nah, he's completely harmless. He stays in it or under it pretty much always. When I first got him, he traveled around a bit before he ended up there. I didn't actually know I was getting an anemone crab....I ordered a "porcelain crab" because I had a non-anemone-hosting porcelain crab before which was very cool, and then this one just sort of ended up hosting the carpet.
