Anemone eating pellet food?

Not intentionally, but they will catch food in column whatever it is as they are opportunistic feeders, but not sure the purpose of targeting pellets specifically.

Small meaty foods like mysis, shrimp, scallop would be mored like they would normally eat in wild, but really light being their main source of energy you could not spot feed at all if lighting is sufficient.

Mine eat pellets all the time, but only because they happen to fall on them.

As stated they are opportunistic feeders and will eat pretty much anything that happens to wander into their grasp.

I have never purposely fed my nems anything.

Thanks for the input guys [emoji1360] just wondering what's better for them... meaty foods or dry food.

Just opinion, I usually try to copy what nature would provide, small filtered meaty foods and more important good lighting.

Same as others, I target feed with frozen mysis, but they sometimes stage pellets or flakes.

One nuance that I think is important - the flow in my tank allows for flakes to be drifting nicely in their path, so when I am away and the tank is dependent on an automatic feeder and dry food I know they will be getting some nutrition.
