Anemone foods

How can you tell if seafood food from the grocery has been treated with anything. If it is raw in the case does that mean that it has not had any preservatives or anything added that may harm my anemone. I will be feeding a Ritteri and from what i read so far pieces of fresh shrimp seem to be a good choice. I currently have my Ritter in QT and have not feed it much only a couple small Krill.

When I get frozen shrimp I just look for the one that has no preservatives listed. Fresh doesn't always mean there's nothing added to it. The store selling the produce may know though if you ask them.

I normally just buy fresh shrimp or scallops from Whole foods chop it up spread it all out in a ziplock and freeze it. Super fresh and no preservatives. Frozen foods you never know if its thawed out or bad.

I do the same thing. I buy 3 shrimp at a time and cut them up. It last me about a month.

Scallops I cut into chunks about the same.
