hey everyo ne. I have a saltwater tank thats been cycling for about 4 months. its a ten gallon reef with a HOB skimmer, a powerhead and a heater.it has 10 pounds of live rock and a clownfish and a firefish. I really want to put in an anemone. i have a 36 watt T5 light system. I dont plann on putting any corals in it save maybe a few mushroom corals. Are there any anemones that would do well in this tank. Do clownfish host these anemones if they exist? I really like BTA s but people say 20 gallon tanks. its about the only invert in there save a fer hermits and a snail so maybe that would work. what do you guys think?

I recently added a tank-bred maroon clownfish to my 27 cube and it matched to my BTA within an hour and now never leaves it more than a few inches. I think you could do a small BTA in a 10 gallon IF you are a perfectionist and will maintain stable water conditions. I have several BTA's in that tank and he chose the smallest one that is about the size of a golf ball. I do have a much larger tank I can transfer them to so you might want to be willing to upsize if necessary.
