anemone for 'new' tank

We are upgrading from a 44G corner to a 75G w/45G sump. We already have all the sand and rock (both live) in a tank with water, flow, heat and light.

1) What can we do to upgrade the quality of the rock/sand until we put it in the display tank?
2) Since the sand and rock are both live, and we'll be using about 50 gallons of 'live' water, do we need to wait a year before we get an anemone?
3) We have a BTA in the 44G--any problems moving to the 75, other than finding his new spot?

You dont have to wait a year, but you do have to wait until your water parameters come into line. If you just continue to do water changes from your 44 into your 75 it will speed up the process FME
