Anemone frustrations

I love anemones but they just frustrate me so much!
1st BTA was a huge rose bubble. Easily 8-10" disc when open and happy. He always chose to attach to the back of the rocks and face the rear glass....grrrr. Eventually he started to move around but unfortunately I had a single small power head at the surface to agitate and he found it. :( Not the 3 larger main water movers.....just the one tiny one that I thought would never happen.
This was 2-3 months ago.

Fast forward to this weekend. New tank, new aqua scaping. I get 3 rose BTA's thinking surely I'll have some rose BTA beauty with my chances. 2 of them chose the 1 spot in the tank that I didnt want them to OF COURSE. A rock bridge that is at a 45' angel coming out. They both attached to the rear of it and face the rear of the tank so you cant see them. They're out and beautiful but if you look at the tank you dont see any anemones.
The 3rd isnt looking so hot. I found him tucked way inside a rock pile. I thought he was dead because I saw white stuff coming from his foot, but apparently some how he tore his foot. Who knows.

Maybe if I get 15 more anemones one will have no choice but to face forwards in the tank because all 18 others will take up all the rear facing spots.

Grrrrr haha.

I have the same problem. I've given up trying to place them where I want them. 4 out of 5 bta's (1 of them is a beautiful flame!) face the back of the tank. I now think of it as nature's will. After all, my goal is a little slice of reef, right? I keep telling myself that......
My 4 mini maxi and 2 rock flower nems hardly ever move, though.

have you tried dimming your lighting? or moving power heads? If you have a power head to spare cover it in foam and point it at the anemones that are facing the wrong way. Mine seem to move away from power heads and out of the direct light, yours seem to do the same thing...

i know. I thought about that. They're low enough though that I have to be careful not to just create a sand storm with the powerhead. My previous anemone luck they'll move right into the power head haha.
I'll give them time, maybe they'll move.

My lights are very low, I know my par is too low. Trying to wait to get a par meter before I turn them up anymore.
