anemone gone nocturnal?

Need a bit of advice about my super green bubble tip anemone purchased from http://www.marinecenter.com/inverts/anemones/bubbleanemonesupergreen. The anemone arrived healthy and anchored itself into a hole in the live rock quickly. It has been there for about 6 months now and has not moved. During the first 5 months, it spreads out magnificiently during the day but lately has been collapsing into the rock hole during the day and appear to only spread out of the hole during the night when all lights are low or off. Why is this happening? Could my lights be too bright? I have 3 VHOs (1 atinic, 1 Aquasun and 1 actinic white). It is host to a maroon clownfish as well. Any advice is appreciated.

When I first got my anemone, it would open up at night and sort of shrink during the day. Now, I think it was just a phase because it opens up during the day. I also messeged findingnemo who has a great website on bta's and she said it might have been my lighting or it was just getting used to my tank (I only have 80W). It's still under 80W and I have changed to a different brand of salt (although my bta had been opening up before that), it's growing bigger (almost too big for my nano). Anyway, what i really want to say is that as long as your anemone isn't losing color and is eating I think it's just a phase (unless something has changed in your water chemistry).
