Anemone help

How long does it take the clown fish to reside in the bubble tip anemone? I've had the clown for almost a year now, he resided in the bubble tip anemone once before, then it died after a tank change. I recently bought another one and it's been 6 days now and he is not even checking it out. I think the last time I bought one, it took him one day.

I assume you mean an ocellaris, the bubble tip is not there first choice but give it time and it should go in. I've had some that took two weeks or longer to host. Good Luck

What is the best kind then for that type of clown?

The best hosts for the ocellaris are some of the more difficult to keep anemone species...you're probably safer to give it a while to find the anemone.
