This Clownfish is Driving me Crazy

Damn fish just isn’t happy no matter where the anemone is. Wish I could catch her but she’s elusive as hell.

Haven’t had time to try the fish hook method and this is where she moved it today. I have a feeling if I don’t get her out, she’s just going to keep moving the nem around.

Still haven’t been able to catch the damn clown. And, overnight she moved the anemone slightly and it killed my Gold Maxima.

that clown looks a lot like my 2 that are supposed to be Sebae clowns..... at least mine have not tried to redecorate anything yet.

Yep, they were from Petco and were sold as a mated pair of Clarkii. The dominant one died a while back.

I've pretty much given up trying to get her out of the tank. She's decided that anemone is fine where it moved to and hasn't moved in months. However, once (if ever :ROFLMAO:) I get the tank upgrade done, she'll probably get relocated to the frag tank and I'll replace her in the display with two Pink Skunk Clowns.

Yes, this 34 year old Fireclown is a real pest. I can't add or move anything with in about a foot from "his" spot because no matter how large a rock it is, I will find it on the gravel the next day.

I don't know how this Geezer does it because he is about 3" and probably senile. I also can't put my hand in the tank unless I am wearing welding gloves.

Too funny Paul. Clowns are definitely *unique* fish.

oh man what a bummer! I have come very close to ordering one of the bubble traps for my damsel. one of the things I'm most excited about with my new tank, is finally being able to catch that damn damsel. It's done damage to a number of corals. I lost some utter chaos frags it completely covered in sand, my torch almost took some damage, and I'm constantly having to reset, clear, etc my pagoda cup and a few others. that fish is a gonner!

Did you try to catch her after lights out in the evening? Make sure the room the tank is in is pitch black and tank lights are all out. Give it an hour or so then flip the room lights and tank lights on. Fish are in a daze for a couple of minutes and really easy to scoop out this way. Old Anthony Calfo trick.
